I approach therapy intending to create an egalitarian relationship in which we partner to achieve your mental health goals.

My focus

I often serve clients living with depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Excoriation Disorder, addiction, unhelpful thinking styles, low self-esteem, codependency, poor boundary setting, PMDD, and trauma.

My approach

I am an Eclectic Therapist who uses CBT, DBT, couples, and Psychodynamic approaches often. I like to create an environment where I can utilize different theories and techniques to meet my clients where they are that day.

My communication style

I like to create an environment where my clients feel safe, normalized, and not judged. I like to reassure my clients that they are free and safe to discuss their symptoms, thoughts, and experiences when they are ready.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have served as an outpatient case manager, a crisis clinician, a family therapist, and an inpatient clinical therapist. I like helping people manage their thoughts, feelings, and experiences so that they can achieve their goals personally and professionally.

I enjoy collaborating with my clients to develop goals that are important and unique to them, realistic, reachable, and measurable.

Our first session

During the first session, I like to give my clients my contact info so that I am accessible. I complete an assessment that explores symptoms, family history, relationships, daily functioning, and goals for treatment. We also develop a schedule of how often we plan to meet and what goals we are going to strive for.
