My communication style

My communication style is warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a calm, supportive, and safe environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. Sessions with me are collaborative; I listen actively, ask thoughtful questions, and encourage reflection to help clients better understand themselves and their experiences.

My journey to mental healthcare

Mental health care is so important because mental illness often carries a stigma, and many patients may not have the resources or understanding to advocate for their own needs. As a nurse practitioner, the ability to create a safe and supportive environment, educate patients, & help them find the right interventions would be incredibly fulfilling.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting collaboratively, tailoring each plan to the client’s individual needs, strengths, and challenges. During our sessions, we explore the client’s concerns and identify specific, achievable objectives that align with their values and long-term vision for well-being.

Our first session

During our first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they can share their concerns openly. We’ll begin by discussing what brings them to therapy, their mental health history, and any current symptoms or stressors. I’ll ask questions to better understand their background, goals, and any previous treatment experiences.
