My communication style

Simple, compassionate, adaptive to alternatives as email or text, and kind. I believe we need to protect others in how we communicate, but be respectful of their emotions. I want my clients to feel enthusiastic and hopeful when they receive a communication from me that includes a happy face or emoji.

My journey to mental healthcare

I want to be there for the people who need a non-judgmental, culturally empathetic, and compassionate approach where everyone feels welcome and motivated. I believe in the power of overcoming obstacles, and with a good provider, that could be more reachable and easier.

My goals for you

Goals can be manageable and flexible, but the ultimate goal is to help every person feel in control of how they are living their lives and making their best choices to improve their quality of life.

Our first session

In my first session, I like to ask my clients: Please tell me about yourself, as an open book, what you think is important for me to know about you? I like to hear about your life experiences growing up and becoming the adult you are. What are your expectations for counseling? What works for you or not?
