My journey to mental healthcare

Early in my career, working with vulnerable populations—from children and adolescents in acute psychiatric crises to individuals with HIV/AIDS—I quickly learned that individual mental health cannot be separated from societal context.

My goals for you

I am direct, highly empathetic, and solution-focused. My goal is to foster a safe, collaborative environment where you feel fully understood, but also ready to do the hard work of change. I will be an active listener, but I will also offer clear, non-judgmental feedback and psychoeducation.

Our first session

The first session is primarily a comprehensive assessment and collaborative planning session. It's a structured conversation where I invite you to share your story and the challenges that led you to seek care. We'll review your background, your history of wellness, and your current support systems.
