My communication style

My communication style is caring and sharing. I want my clients to know that our interactions are important and provide an environment where they can share thoughts and opinions. In return, I will listen without judgement.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting is working together. The goal has to be something that is important to the client, and my role is to listen to your story and what you are telling me you need, and have that discussion with you. The goals can change over time, so it will be important to check in and modify as needed to be successful.

Our first session

In the interpersonal relationship theory, the initial phase is orientation, so that is where the session would start. This is the opportunity to gain some background on the situation and personal history. The client can ask any questions about the session and goals, and a plan will be discussed.
