I work with individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in generational trauma, childhood trauma, attachment, co-parenting, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I provide a safe space where you can feel vulnerable enough to express yourself and tell your story.

My focus

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating separation, divorce, step-family transitions, co-parenting, bringing a new baby home, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and family conflict. I have extensive experience helping childhood trauma survivors heal from sexual, emotional, and physical abuse.

My approach

My approach is eclectic, using different models depending on the issues you bring. I frequently use Internal Family Systems and Gottman Method to help you heal and understand your wounded parts, restore balance, and empower your self to lead. All models are evidence-based and provide tools you can practice beyond therapy.

My communication style

I always consider who you are as a person and provide empathy to ensure I'm connecting well with you during each session. Clear and concise communication helps me provide education, support, and a place where you can express any concerns without worry.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always had a passion for listening and providing empathy to people in need. After serving in the military and helping local food banks, churches, youth mentoring programs, and inner-city schools, I realized I wanted to help families and individuals become the best versions of themselves.

My goals for you

I provide a collaborative approach when setting goals with you. We work together to define what you want to accomplish during our time together. I focus on building trust and rapport over the first few sessions, checking in on our relationship over time, and tracking and discussing your progress along the way.

During our first session, I want to get to know you and hear about the problem that brought you in. I also want to discuss things going well in your life to ensure we have good balance during the session. My goal is for you to understand that I will provide a safe space where you can feel understood.
