My communication style

My communication style is calm, personable, and warm, but also assertive when needed. I strive to make you feel comfortable talking about anything and feel listened to without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I earned my BSW and MSW from the University of Kentucky, began my career in an inpatient psychiatric facility, and later transitioned to private practice after earning my LCSW. Seeing firsthand how therapy transforms lives inspired me to help others find healing and growth through individual therapy.

My goals for you

I believe goal setting is about us working together. Goals change and progress during each session. We will build attainable goals and track your progress through each session.

Our first session

During our first session, we will spend the majority of the time getting to know each other and establishing a helping relationship. I will ask questions to understand your history and why you took the brave step to seek therapy. We will then work together to establish your needs and build a treatment plan.
