Hi there, I'm Rebecca!

I work with adults seeking to improve their mental health functioning. Through building a strong therapeutic relationship, I hope to be the bridge between who you are now and who you hope to become.

My focus

I believe we all have it within us to find solutions to our problems. I like to work with clients who are ready to use the therapeutic relationship to find their best path forward. I am comfortable treating depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, mood disorders, OCD, panic disorder, and those who have experienced narcissistic abuse.

My approach

I offer an integrative, client-centered approach to counseling. Our work together will be collaborative in nature. I am a solution-focused therapist with an eclectic style.

My communication style

I like to create a calm, accepting environment where clients feel free to express their true feelings without fear of judgment. My hope is for clients to look forward to every session.

My journey to mental healthcare

Life kept me from pursuing counseling immediately, and life is what prompted me to begin pursuing it. I keep doing this work because I love to see how people heal and grow. Clients allowing me to be a part of their process of change is my motivation.

My goals for you

Goal setting is a dynamic process that may change with each session, depending on what is occurring in the client's life. The idea is to set larger, longer-term goals, break these into smaller, manageable goals, and assess progress on a regular basis.

Our first session

During our first session, I will be asking questions as I try to learn all I can about you. I will actively listen as I allow you the space to discuss your issues as you see them.
