My journey to mental healthcare

My experience in the substance abuse field gave me valuable insight into co-occurring disorders and their impact on individuals. I saw how untreated mental health issues can lead to self-medication and dependency. This motivated me to study mental health counseling to maximize my impact and offer comprehensive care.
