I am supportive and empathetic, but I am fairly blunt and direct in that I reflect back to my clients what they are doing so that they can make more productive choices.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a counselor after a series of hardships that required a long road to recovery and getting the help and assistance of a variety of wonderful people. These events included getting crushed by an automobile, the traumatic death of my father, and the chaotic dissolution of my family and primary support group.

I focus on a client's strengths and how best to use these attributes to achieve concrete, measurable results.
