Hi there, I'm Rebecca!

I'm here to help you work through daily life challenges using evidence-based practices with an empathetic, nonjudgmental approach. I'll assist you with obtaining the tools needed to meet your goals while improving self-compassion and resilience as you navigate the challenges you face.

My focus

I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, OCD, PTSD, substance use, ADHD, hoarding, and mood disorders.

My approach

I use an empathetic, nonjudgmental, person-centered approach to assist clients with meeting their identified needs. This may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused informed care, and integrative therapeutic approaches.

I use active listening, empathy, and positive feedback to create a safe, supportive space where you can share openly.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey began when I discovered my passion for helping others navigate their challenges. I've always been the listening ear for those who needed support, and I truly enjoy assisting others through problem-solving and effective coping strategies. I strive to be the person for others that I have needed in the past.

I ask clients to choose three things they'd like to focus on during our time together. We'll review and update therapy goals regularly to ensure achievement.

Our first session

Our first session involves asking questions about how you've been feeling lately, when you noticed the problem may have started, and any steps you've taken to feel better. This allows me to gain a better understanding of your needs and concerns.
