My focus

I primarily work with teens and adolescents who may be experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transitions such as grief and loss, divorce, job changes, educational changes, moving, etc.

My approach

I primarily practice utilizing the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model. I believe that how we think about situations and our reactions to those thoughts are key to understanding ourselves and making lasting change and progress.

My communication style

I set a tone of calm, relaxation, and reassurance, coupled with relatable metaphors, a bit of humor, honesty, and accountability. Clients enjoy working with me and find that I'm able to get to the core of the issue, but also make sure they have adequate coping skills to address any maladaptive feelings, thoughts, or behaviors that might exist.

My journey to mental healthcare

I enjoy helping others to reach their highest potential. I see therapy as a metamorphosis and delight in seeing change and growth in my clients. That change and growth is what drives me in the process of my life's work - helping others.
