Grateful you have arrived-I'm here for you! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a license with the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with men, women, and children of various ages experiencing difficulties that affect mood, thinking, and behavior.
My focus
I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for teens and young adults who deal with the challenges of life transitions and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, adjustment disorder, depression, mood disorder, grief, stress, and trauma disorders. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods.
My approach
My approach to providing therapy depends on the individual I am working with, and this is why I use an eclectic approach tailored to meet an individual's needs and goals. I customarily use Humanistic/Client-Centered Therapy and CBT. Both of these theoretical approaches allow promotion of a safe environment that is empathetic and nonjudgmental.
