My communication style

My communication style is enthusiastic, direct, accommodating, and personable. I want you to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. I pride myself on building good rapport and on my ability to listen without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always had a heart to help people from a young age. Whether it was within the family, at church, in school, volunteering in my community, or being a trusted and loyal friend. I have always naturally been drawn to helping people through difficult times. All of my occupations have been helping others in one way or another.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting as a process where we come to an understanding and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.

Our first session

What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend the majority of our time talking about how you've been feeling recently, and me asking questions to better understand some of why you may be feeling that way. The first session is about us building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of where we should go from there
