Hi there, I'm Susan!

I am passionate about helping others. I work with individuals coping with a variety of challenges in their lives, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, maternal mental health, trauma, grief and loss, and personal growth.

My focus

I have worked with all ages, from children to older adults, and feel that this experience has allowed me to understand a wide range of disorders and emotional pain. I have a lot of success working with people who suffer from trauma, anxiety, depression, and life-changing events (e.g., severe illness or loss of a loved one).

My approach

My approach will vary depending on your unique needs and situation. The most common approaches that I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and safe place for you to express yourself. I draw from a strengths-based approach that promotes self-confidence and empowers clients to create meaningful changes in their lives.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I love helping people navigate obstacles that are preventing them from feeling happy, balanced, and fulfilled. The longer I practice, the more I realize that the key to treating human conditions is through light, love, and compassion.

My approach to goal setting is based on the belief that everyone has the power to heal themselves. My role is to serve as a guide, a facilitator, or a conduit, depending on the needs of my clients.
