My communication style

The environment I provide is a safe, confidential, judgment-free, culturally sensitive practice. I am transparent and will respond honestly and sincerely. Open communication is very important in a therapeutic relationship, and my goal is to help and support you achieve yours.

My journey to mental healthcare

In my personal life, I have several individuals who have undiagnosed mental illness, which has and continues to affect choices in life. Out of 6 children from my parents, including myself, there are depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use.

My goals for you

Goals are needed in the journey. Working together, we will develop goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, and time-sensitive. When working together, we will continue to look at the goals and adapt as needed, and of course, verbally celebrate when they are achieved.

Our first session

Our first meeting is to get a history, go over expectations of the services, and start developing a therapeutic relationship. There are a lot of questions, but nothing too hard, and it's a test you cannot fail. Relax, get comfy, and settle in for some easy conversation.
