My focus

I work with adults who are struggling with grief, anxiety, and depression, along with those who are working through life transitions. Additionally, I have experience working with adults who have dealt with addiction, either themselves or with family members.

My approach

I offer a supportive environment where we will collaborate to identify ways to achieve your goals and find solutions. I focus on building relationships with people so they may deepen their awareness and understanding of themselves and their experiences. I work with an open mind and a sense of humor.

My communication style

I tend to be direct, while also being empathetic and understanding. I will accept you where you are in this journey, and challenge you to develop new skills to manage the things that brought you to therapy in the first place.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began working with children who struggled with significant behavioral issues. This led me to consider the experiences that shape us as adults. These professional experiences provided me with the expertise and knowledge I need to work with a variety of presenting issues.

My goals for you

Identifying your treatment goals is a process that will change and evolve. Sometimes, the concerns that have brought you to therapy are just the first steps in addressing issues that you may not have initially identified as treatment goals. Throughout the therapeutic process, we will continue to evaluate your goals and the progress you have made.

Our first session

In our first session, we will start the process of building a therapeutic relationship. I will support you in addressing the issues that you are hoping to address. We will look at your history and talk about what has helped and what hasn't helped in the past.
