I work together with you, offering a safe space to process issues in your life that may be holding you back, engage in thoughtful problem-solving, and help you build coping skills to move forward with your personal goals.

My focus

My clients are adult individuals who are ready to make some positive life changes. Many are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, adjusting to life changes, relationship challenges, grief, parenting and caregiver stress, and that general 'stuck' feeling.

My approach

I work from a variety of strength-based frameworks and collaborate with you to create a treatment plan that feels right, whether you're looking for a comfortable listening ear or someone to challenge you to help you grow.

My communication style

My style is pretty informal. My sessions are conversational. I will ask questions and facilitate exploring, offer feedback and observations, but will not dictate the content of the session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have worked in various community, health, and mental health settings with a range of ages and demographics, with the idealistic goal of helping people and communities. I love being a therapist because I get to witness and validate clients' stories and be there at the moment when they're ready for growth.

I see goal setting as an ongoing process, with frequent check-ins as sessions progress.

I try to quickly ask for some background information and history to assess your needs and then if possible leave a bit of time to address the current issue bringing you into therapy today.
