I take a person-centered approach focused on symptom relief. I provide education and options so you can choose treatment that feels right for you. Listening and collaboration are essential because you're the one taking the medication, and your buy-in makes treatment successful.

My journey to mental healthcare

I chose psychiatry because it's a growing field where much is still unknown. I'm fascinated by the human condition, neurological functioning, and the art of prescribing psychiatric medicine.

My goals for you

I work with you to set realistic goals for treatment and recovery. It's important to base expectations on what medications can reasonably do and what other resources and treatments are available to support your progress.

Our first session

During the first session, I complete a comprehensive assessment looking at symptoms, psychiatric history, medical history, social history, and previous medication trials. We then discuss possible medication options and form a treatment plan together.
