Hi there, I'm Shane!

Are you adjusting to a recent life event? Or have you been wanting to change your thoughts, actions, or feelings for years? Let's walk your path forward. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Before practicing therapy in 2023, I worked in this field since 2018, with experience in crisis, hospital, residential treatment, and detox settings.

My focus

While I have experience with a wide range of conditions, I most commonly work with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and trauma in a way that makes sharing the trauma story itself optional. My clientele also includes some who identify as "not the type to see a therapist" or who haven't found their past therapists' styles a good fit.

My approach

I practice Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, which is effective for short, moderate, and long-term therapeutic needs. This therapy focuses on the future - accomplishing the change you seek in your life, rather than focusing on the problems that led you to seek therapy. These enacted changes then often lessen or resolve past problems and pain.
