I try to be as direct as possible during my sessions with my clients out of a sense of respect. I don't want people to feel as though I am "doing" something to them.

I try to meet clients where they are and build manageable steps towards goals. Sounds trite, but it is how it's done. Focusing on the process of achieving the next step, not the end goals themselves.
