My communication style

I blend humor and metaphor to create a warm, compassionate space. I never shy away from difficult conversations but never force you to tackle something until you're ready. I'm comfortable with silence so you can gather your thoughts, and equally comfortable tracking your thinking out loud to help you identify a clear sense of direction.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became motivated by the idea of helping people thrive through developmental and circumstantial changes, making difficult times easier and giving everyone a chance to live the life they want. Seeing my clients gain lifelong self-advocacy skills and embrace making life work for them rather than constantly masking is exceptionally rewarding.

My goals for you

I see therapy as a collaborative path towards goals specific to you. Your path may twist and turn, your goals may shift, and I'm here to join you on your journey. We'll continually assess your progress and adjust as needed to make sure we're working on what matters most to you.

Our first session

My goal is to ask questions and gather information so I can understand what's going on and how I can help. We'll talk about what's bringing you into therapy and about you as a whole person, not just the problems you're facing. You'll have a chance to ask me questions, and then we'll collaboratively generate a therapy plan together.
