My communication style

I create a therapeutic space that is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental where clients feel safe enough to be honest about their experiences and emotions. My communication style is compassionate and collaborative while helping clients identify unhealthy patterns, improve accountability, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up as a Black woman in the inner city, I got firsthand insight into the ways trauma, stress, survival, and systemic barriers can impact emotional health and relationships. I was drawn to becoming a therapist because I saw how many people carried pain in silence while lacking safe spaces to feel heard, supported, and understood.

My goals for you

I work collaboratively with clients to create treatment goals that feel realistic, meaningful, and aligned with the changes they want to see in their lives and relationships. Together we identify patterns, emotional barriers, and behavioral challenges while tracking progress over time through practical tools and psycho-education.

Our first session

During our first session, my goal is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace without feeling pressured or judged. I take a laid back and conversational approach while also helping us identify the concerns, relationship patterns, and emotional challenges that brought you to therapy.
