My communication style

I am direct, compassionate, candid, and gentle. You are the expert in your life, and I respect that. Nonetheless, I get excited about providing additional perspectives and challenges that help people grow. Expect sessions to feel calm yet engaging.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey as a therapist started with my own mental health challenges, bringing me into therapy and psychiatry myself. I found great success, among great difficulty, and I strive to be the therapist I benefited from most when I was working on my mental health challenges.

My goals for you

Setting goals is a collaborative approach. You let me know what would make a big difference in your life, and I will help use make it specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. Ultimately, though, your goals are what we focus on. I do not tell you what will make your life better. I just help you figure out what you want most.

Our first session

Our first session will be focused on me learning as much about you as I can in order to properly understand who you are and what you're looking for. From there, we will set our initial goals and talk about the general path we want to walk down to help you achieve your goals.
