My goal is for clients to feel safe with me and allow me the privilege of being a part of their healing journey.

I specialize in treating adults with trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief.

My approach

I am Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). My other approaches include Person-Centered, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

My communication style

As a therapist, I strive to create a warm, calming, and supportive atmosphere in which clients can explore their truths without fear of judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a college student, I was first introduced to the mental health field while working in a residential facility for teens. My focus changed as I experienced my own life changes. I developed a desire to help others through trauma after experiencing grief and loss in my own life and witnessing family members struggle with trauma.

My goals for you

The client and I work together to establish client-centered goals. Goals are fluid and ever-changing in order to meet the client's needs.

Our first session

The first session will be exploring what brought the client to therapy, goals, personal concerns, history, and symptoms. Also, I encourage the client to ask me questions and determine if I am someone they feel they can trust with their story.
