My communication style

My communication style will always be on the spectrum of realism, but I augment according to my client. Some clients need a more straightforward conversation, some need more nurturing, some sessions will require more of an educational feel, and some need a mixture of various types. Overall, I will meet the client where they are for communication.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am a survivor of many atrocities that this world has to offer - but I survived and proudly help others climb out of the mental muck and mire that I used to call home. I was drawn to being a provider because I needed help with learning how to realize and let myself feel, and that it is "OK to not be perfect!". I help others have a voice.

My goals for you

To help my clients reach their goals, I provide support in ways that fit each person's needs. I may send weekly texts, assign accountability tasks, teach coping skills for independent use, share books or videos, or help connect clients to additional resources. My approach is always tailored to what will be most helpful for each individual.

Our first session

My first session is time for us to get to know each other, discuss goals for therapy, and make sure that my client is ready to dive into the deep waters of tackling mental health. My first session is to give a hoorah to the person for taking the first step towards freedom in whatever area they need help.
