My communication style

My counseling style is pretty laid-back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the difficult things right now.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have worked with many different populations during my career. I began as a social worker, child care advocate, and director. While I enjoyed working with different populations, I realized that teaching them skills for self-esteem, trauma, and life goals would help them on their journey to advocate for themselves with confidence.

My goals for you

We will set goals together and work on achieving them at your own pace. We will discuss what struggles you're currently having and how to work toward success with attainable and measurable goals.

Our first session

Our first session is a 'meet and greet' session. It is to help us begin the therapeutic process in a safe and relaxed environment while building trust, support, and open communication.
