I am happy that you are here. I love the work I get to do. I believe that we all have a unique and interesting story. It is in sharing our stories, we can receive care and comfort, and it allows me to offer empathy and challenge so that we can begin creating a plan for you.
My focus
I believe that we all work better with a toolbox of coping skills. We will create one specifically for you. The idea is that when you leave therapy, you have gained the tools you need going forward.
My approach
I am a Client-Centered therapist, which means we work at your pace. We will work on the reasons you have come to therapy, mixed with day-to-day things that are helpful to discuss. I want to hear about your past and present, but our work will be in the here and now. I often create active homework for you to work on between sessions.
