My communication style

I work to have a no-judging place, supported by empathy and acceptance. I want to understand, with the client, what the issues are, and then build a plan with them to find the safest way forward. Everyone knows what treatment goals/plans are about.

My journey to mental healthcare

Before becoming a Licensed Therapist, I had had several different careers. And, in all of them, people appeared to enjoy talking with me and often reported that to me. I finally realized that "therapy" was my calling, because, at the end of the day, I just want people to feel "better." Life can be hard enough doing it alone.

I work with you to form treatment goals, a plan, and a timeline to reach them together.

Our first session

You'll find acceptance and some questions from me to better understand the issue. We'll discuss what goals you have and what you want from therapy.
