I invite you to come as you are into the brave space of therapy. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and those who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community.

My focus

I aim to support clients who are open to learning and applying new information and skills in their daily life. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults.

My approach

I approach treatment with an abundance of curiosity, nonjudgment, and collaboration. I primarily utilize interventions from CBT, DBT, and humanistic therapy. My focus is to meet you where you are at in each moment, and to support you in your growth and healing.

My communication style

My communication style is a blend of warmth, compassion, and directness. I want clients to have the experience that their voice matters, and I aim to balance active listening with problem-solving in sessions.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to social work because of the value placed on social justice, including advocacy and striving for equity and anti-oppression. Once I graduated with my degree, I was drawn to working with adolescents and young adults because that developmental period is often one of the toughest to traverse, including in my own life.

My goals for you

My work with clients is always collaborative and focused on meeting the goals they set for their healing. I help clients reach their goals through active listening, psychoeducation, skill building, and celebrating successes!

Our first session

Our first session will focus on me getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and setting goals for treatment. It is also a great time to ask questions and start to develop trust and rapport.
