My focus

I work with a wide range of clients and am often called a Generalist. I enjoy helping people identify, acknowledge, and release past or current traumas. Being trauma-informed is central to how I practice.

My approach

My therapeutic approach centers you as the pilot and me as the co-pilot in a strengths-based model. I draw from Reality Therapy, Feminist Therapy, and Relational Cultural approaches, meeting you where you are. Clients appreciate my direct delivery because they feel heard and have a safe place to process.

My communication style

My tone is clear, direct, and safe. Clients receive both confrontation and support in sessions with me. Life is about lessons—some sought, others forced—and we explore those that are relevant to you.

My journey to mental healthcare

Mental health is my passion and ranks as important as physical health. Grief, anger, regret, resentment, and identity are personal experiences that have motivated me to help others express themselves and regain their power.

My goals for you

I focus on realistic goals because most people are overachievers. We start by identifying your 'why'—if there's no personal attachment, we confront the goal's purpose. We identify false beliefs, check in regularly, and adjust as needed.

Our first session is about getting to know you, and that may continue into following sessions. We'll establish an understanding of the counseling relationship and create a plan for sessions to come.
