My communication style

I aim to provide a calm environment that promotes reflection and ease. I naturally adjust my communication style to match the people I work with. I am an avid listener and will request feedback to ensure I understand the whole picture.

My journey to mental healthcare

I spent many years studying Buddhist psychology and yoga before becoming a therapist. I have been repeatedly amazed by the deep capacity for healing within the human mind. I care deeply for others and find therapy a fulfilling method for being of service.

My goals for you

Most clients are experts on what will improve their lives and what has and hasn't worked in the past. Therapeutic goals are arrived at collaboratively, with a focus on practical improvements that can lead to a more fulfilling life.

Our first session

Our first session is about getting to know one another and building trust. I will answer questions about the therapeutic process and ask you some questions to develop a picture of who you are. We will discuss what you hope to achieve and what has and has not worked for you in the past.
