I am well known for my realistic approach to life challenges. I have a calm and caring demeanor. I encourage expression and provide a supportive listener. I am an explorer and will always ask you to examine your feelings and thoughts. I remain with you every step of the way and help you to maintain your autonomy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always had a strong desire to be in the helping profession. My admiration for the social work profession came as I sat at the front desk of several mental health clinics, performing reception duties. I watched the clients and the clinicians. I knew that it was what I wanted to do.

My goals for you

Treatment goals are a central part of your success. You set a realistic and obtainable goal. I do see this as a partnership as we work together to get you to the finish line. During this time, if life presents the need for a new goal, we can always evaluate and add.

Our first session

First sessions are always nerve-wracking for the client. Why? because first you're meeting someone you don't know and sharing parts of your life. It's natural to feel a little nervous. However, I have a skill that will calm your fears and relax you. I will be honest from the start.
