My focus

I really enjoy helping children and adults meet their goals. I will begin by learning what is important to you. We will then discuss strategies and goals that will help you. I value creating a warm, accepting space for individuals to feel heard and grow.

My approach

I use CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help individuals. For children, I am very experienced in the use of PCIT for helping families connect and meet their goals. I adapt strategies to meet people where they are at and help them on their journey.

My communication style

I will create a calm space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. Clients often tell me that they feel very comfortable sharing with me. I use reflective listening and thoughtful questions to help increase exploration and processing.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I really want to help people. I believe that everyone can grow, change, and learn strategies to make their lives better. I really enjoy watching people of all ages accomplish new goals.

My goals for you

After a thorough discussion with you about your needs, wants, values, and struggles, we will work together to create goals. When working with children, I help them feel comfortable through the use of child-centered interactions. I use books, games, music, and art to help children share and learn during sessions.

People are often nervous at their first therapy session. My goal during this first session is to learn more about you and your goals. My goals for this first session are just to get to know you and what is important to you.
