Hi there, I'm Antoniette!

I help those truly seeking change develop tools unique to their needs, personalities, and circumstances. I deliver counseling with compassion and understanding of the person as a whole. I address everything from everyday stresses to complex chronic issues of mind or body, including life transitions, chronic illness, caregiver burnout, and aging.

My focus

I work with adults 25 and up seeking to improve their own abilities. Therapy is a tool to strengthen, not create co-dependence. I help those facing chronic stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, chronic medical issues, domestic violence recovery, communication challenges, and difficult family dynamics.

My approach

I draw from various modalities depending on your goals, needs, and capabilities. Each person's needs are different, so I'm not married to any one approach. I tailor therapy to what works best for you, blending techniques to support your unique journey toward growth and healing.

My communication style

I'm light-hearted and like to laugh. Life is too serious not to find moments of joy. Clients tell me they feel seen and listened to. Honesty is my most prominent trait, delivered with grace during every session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I followed the path that made sense for my personality and natural gifts. Listening, caring for others, and problem-solving have always been my natural talents. I sought out the road that would allow me to make a career doing what I was naturally gifted to do.

My goals for you

Goals are discussed on the first day and revisited throughout our work together. As you gain deeper insight into your own needs, goals may change. Fluidity is key to goal setting and development.

Our first session

Expect to do a lot of talking. The first session is a getting-to-know-you session where you get to purge all the things that have been bottled up. I use storytelling methods to gain useful information and help you develop your initial goals.
