My journey to mental healthcare

My path to becoming an LCSW began with a deep curiosity about people's stories and a strong desire to be of service. Early on, I found myself drawn to spaces where people were hurting, yet helpful. I earned my master's degree after a personal life experience that encouraged my journey in studying the field of social work.

Through open dialogue, I gain an understanding of the needs, values, strengths, and challenges. Using clinical tools and structured conversation, I will assess what is going on and help identify key areas for support.

Our first session

It is totally normal to feel nervous for the first visit. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so my goal is to get to know you, understand what's bringing you to me, and begin identifying what you hope to get out of our work together. I'll ask questions about your background and what's currently going on.
