My communication style

I am known to be energetic and animated when I am speaking. I try to create a relaxed environment where my clients can feel both safe and heard. I make an effort to stay away from clinical jargon and try to connect with clients in a real way.

My journey to mental healthcare

While in graduate school, I provided therapy to monolingual Spanish speakers living with HIV, who had not had a Spanish-speaking therapist in over 2 years. That unmet need compelled me to make a lateral move in my career to providing direct services as a clinical therapist.

My goals for you

My goal is to help each client 'connect their dots'. That can look different for each person. Together, we will explore the manner in which the client best understands themselves, their challenges, and the world around them.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I'll ask about your goals and concerns, and we'll begin exploring how we can work together to support your growth and healing.
