My communication style

My clients often comment about their feeling of ease with me and their sense that I genuinely care about them and their welfare. My space is filled with plants, pillows, and blankets in an effort to create a space where they can feel safe and nurtured.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been told since childhood that I was a good listener. When I looked around to see what careers could possibly involve listening, being a therapist was at the top of the list. I find that people want to share their stories if you allow them to.

My goals for you

I allow you to create your own goals and determine when you feel they are reached. I offer suggestions and tools to help you get where you want to be, supporting your autonomy throughout the process.

Our first session

In the first session, I collect information about the problem, how long it has existed, and what you've tried to alleviate your discomfort. I work on building rapport and identifying any prior treatment and possible barriers. My goal is to make the first session as stress-free as possible.
