I have obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S., 2008) degree in Psychology from Fisk University, Nashville, TN. In addition, an undergraduate completed coursework through the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2005/2006), and abroad courses from Estudio de Sampere, in Salamanca, Spain (2007).
My focus
Since becoming licensed, I have completed training in specific skills related to adult survivors of mass shootings and PTSD for first responders, active military, veterans, and correctional workers.
My approach
My theoretical orientation is integrated and primarily based on psychoanalytic theory, trauma-informed focused care, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, strategic therapy, transgenerational family therapy, and existential therapy.
