My journey to mental healthcare

Between growing up in a house overwhelmed with addiction and my military service, the idea of being a therapist just fit. While in my undergraduate studies, I was able to obtain a position working in a day treatment program, see the change in the clients I knew I had found my career, my passion.

My goals for you

When setting goals, I always look to the client; if they are not invested, then whatever goal I set does not matter. The client has to want it.

Our first session

Lots of questions!!! I want to get an idea of where you are at, what you want to get out of the therapy, and understand previous therapy- what worked and what didn't.
