My journey to mental healthcare

I cared for a very disturbed psychotic patient who was out of touch with reality. This patient met me months later, recognized me, and remembered my care while recovering. I decided to pursue the highest skill necessary to give compassionate care and prevent human suffering caused by mental illness.
