My focus
I work with adults who struggle to manage their emotions. My role is to help you build awareness of what areas or events stir up negative emotions and thoughts that result in unwanted behaviors. Building this awareness will give you the tools to regulate your emotions and break undesirable cycles.
My approach
I use cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy. CBT offers practical tools to help you become aware of unhelpful thoughts and how they connect to your feelings and behaviors. Person-centered therapy keeps the focus on your goals and what you want to accomplish.
