Hi there, I'm Teresa!

I discovered social work through my sister's chronic childhood illness. The hospital social worker who worked with my sister and family showed me the compassion needed in caring for families facing unanticipated difficulties. As a child, I knew I wanted to help others process difficult life experiences.

My focus

I have been able to work with a range of clients, many present with difficulties coping with stressful life changes. Clients often are coping with loss, traumatic experiences, big life changes, depression, and/or anxiety.

My approach

In providing care to my clients, they come to learn that I offer support to them throughout their life challenges and experiences. I am a therapist who looks for your strengths and brings them to your attention while helping identify areas that would benefit from change.
