Hi there, I'm Danielle!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of NJ and a LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) in the state of NY. I am outcome oriented and look to work with my clients to create and achieve their goals.

My focus

My areas of interest are perinatal mental health (I am perinatal mental health certified) sexual health and trauma, and first responders, but I love to work with each individual to find out the traumatic experiences that prevent them from functioning to their highest potential.

My approach

I have extensive training and experience in trauma-focused modalities such as EMDR and brainspotting. I look at most maladaptive behavioral patterns through a trauma lens to help individuals change the patterns and break the cycle.

My communication style

I like to create an informal environment while still maintaining stringent boundaries. Treatment goals and benchmarks are important, but it's also important to laugh in session!

My journey to mental healthcare

Being a therapist has always been my goal. I feel honored to hold space for my clients and show up for them each day. I have been in the field for quite some time and every day feels like a new adventure!

My goals for you

I want to work collaboratively with the client to set their treatment goals, not just tell them what they 'should' be working on. I expect my clients to work on their goals as much as I am working on achieving their goals.

Information gathering and rapport building by figuring out a plan together. I want you to feel comfortable in the therapeutic process above all. I don't want to tell you what you should do—I want to guide you to what feels right for you!
