Hi there, I'm Judi!

I focus on anxiety, panic disorders, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and grief and loss. I've worked in diverse settings, from home-based family prevention to outpatient mental health and primary care. Each experience shaped how I support clients today.

My focus

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem struggles, disability issues, chronic pain, and LGBTQ concerns. These are challenging life events where you may not know the best way forward, and I'm here to help.

My approach

I'm committed to personalized care that's client-centered and looks beneath the surface at what drives your feelings and behavior. I use CBT, ego psychology, solution-focused therapy, and internal family systems. Clients describe me as supportive and honest.

My communication style

I have an appropriate sense of humor and enjoy connecting over books or pets, but I'm very mindful of boundaries. I've faced some of the same challenges my clients have, which helps me understand what you're going through.

My journey to mental healthcare

I chose social work because human behavior fascinated me, and I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people's lives and their communities. It's been one of the most rewarding decisions I've made.

My goals for you

Goal setting begins in our first session as I listen to what you're struggling with. It's a mutual process, not me telling you what to do. My role is to help you get where you want to be.

The first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you. I'll ask important questions to understand where you're coming from and where you're stuck. We'll discuss boundaries and safety. My hope is that by the end, you feel comfortable working with me.
