Hi there, I'm Theresa!

My focus area of practice is adolescents and young adults under 30 years old. My therapy is a person-centered approach: meeting people where they are and allowing the client to make decisions about their future.

My focus

I work with all types of clients ranging from people with mental health concerns to those with intellectual developmental disabilities. I am most comfortable with young adults and adolescents between the ages of 15-18 years old.

My approach

The most common theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focus, Motivational Interviewing, and Experiential therapy.

My communication style

I am more of a listener but I make sure that the client feels comfortable, especially during the first session. I usually try to identify a topic that we both share and try to have a discussion around the topic.
