My communication style

I seek to create an open and non-judgmental environment in session where we may begin to look at your innermost thoughts and feelings. I seek to achieve this by moving at a pace that feels comfortable and welcoming your many sides into the room.

My journey to mental healthcare

I come to this work from a very personal place, which fuels my passion. I did not know where to find the support I needed as a young person, and as such, I have a passion for providing support to those who need it. For the most part, I like to keep my own journey private so that you will remain the focus during our time together.

My goals for you

I will inquire about what you are struggling with and what you would like to work towards. Sometimes your goals are not always clear and can become clearer in our work.

Our first session

In our first session, I will explore what brings you to therapy and what you are seeking to get out of therapy. I will inquire about your history, and you may share as much as you are comfortable sharing. The first few sessions are an opportunity to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit for each other.
