I'm a skilled mental health counselor supporting those in need to make positive and meaningful changes. Through a compassionate lens, I help individuals and couples overcome issues such as depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, and relationship conflict.
My focus
I have treated clients with substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and behavioral/ mental health diagnoses. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient substance abuse and mental health clinics. I have experience working with all ages but specialize in adolescents to older adults, couples, and families.
My approach
I use client-centered counseling to increase motivation and self-empowerment. I help individuals reach short and long-term goals and develop healthy coping skills to continue to improve their quality of life. Therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy.
