Hi there, I'm Christopher!

My approach is client-centered with a strong background in trauma-informed care. I understand how complicated clinical issues can be and how trauma and loss affect us on many levels.

My focus

I work with a wide range of clinical issues, including severe trauma, devastating losses, and psychological, physical, and sexual abuse. I see couples and individuals, and I understand how traumatic events drive hypervigilant and dysfunctional behaviors.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, influenced by a comprehensive assessment and an intuitive sense of what works best for you. Trauma-informed care, family therapy, Cognitive Therapy, DBT, Attachment Theory, and other frameworks inform my work.

My communication style

I am highly upbeat and optimistic, striving to build mutual trust and respect. I talk a lot but am an excellent listener with strong empathic skills. I adjust my style to be maximally present to you, which can change within and between sessions. I care deeply about every client.

My journey to mental healthcare

From early adolescence, I realized that being emotionally supportive gave me a great deal in return. My philosophical and spiritual values inform my clinical work, as does my lifelong commitment to social justice and advocacy.
