Hi there, I'm Melinda!

I work with individuals and families across life transitions. My focus is helping clients feel confident managing their challenges, supported in coping with their thoughts and feelings, and empowered to regain their sense of centeredness and control.

My focus

I mostly work with adults and couples facing chronic illnesses, depression, adjustment difficulties, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, managing aging, stress, caregiver distress, parenting, life transitions, and anger. I use a trauma-informed lens and am mindful of the intersections of culture and religion on how we perceive and address challenges.

My approach

My approach is strength-based and person-centered, allowing you to drive your journey with guidance and support. I use a blend of behavioral, mindfulness, and experiential interventions tailored to you. We'll work closely to create a toolbox of resources and coping skills that enables you to feel confident managing future challenges.
